A journey to where? You’ve been there before, but perhaps it’s been a while. A journey… home, to yourself.

It may sound simple, but living in a world that prioritizes doing actually deprives us from what we need most: being. You get caught up in the distractions of everyday life, and these distractions carry you away from yourself, including your needs, your desires, even your own intuition. Before you know it, you’re feeling overwhelmed…untethered… even perhaps stressed, anxious, or depressed, All of these negative feelings can drain you, leaving you feeling hopeless and disempowered.

But did you know that you already possess within you a wellspring of unwavering calm, clarity and resilience? It’s been there all along; it simply requires your awareness. This is where the Mindfulness-Based Living Course comes in.

Created by the renowned Mindfulness Association in Scotland, this immersive 8-week course, guides you through an incredible journey of unlocking the door to present-moment awareness, absent of your fear-based ego, where you will gain access to inner peace, resilience and freedom. When you learn to approach life the mindful way, you become empowered to connect with your innate wisdom and to live authentically, according to your own strengths and dreams.

During our weekly live sessions together, we will discuss the science-backed applications and benefits of mindfulness, supported by neuroscience and psychology, with gentle input from Buddhist philosophy. You will also learn powerful meditations and other mindfulness, self-compassion, and insight practices that you can apply to your everyday life. This is a progressive curriculum, with each class building on the last in order to solidify your learning. Sessions are 1.5 - 2 hours long (45 min for private teaching).

When we gift ourselves the opportunity to practice mindfulness, we strengthen an innate ability we didn´t know we had but that is always here waiting for us in the present moment. The stronger we build our “mindfulness muscle,” the easier it becomes to approach all areas of life from a place of empowered non-reactivity, peace and wisdom, so that mindfulness is not so much a practice but a mindset.
